Sadly, someone knew snollygoster, or at least was close enough to give
pause.

snollygoster (n.) - a shrewd unprincipled person

He even knew the etymology:

Etymology: probably alteration of snallygaster a mythical creature that
preys on poultry and children

So, we have a new word: crambo.

Let me know if you know it.
