To whom it may concern:

Although we caution you against interpreting it as a sign of
weakness or vulnerability, we have chosen to wait one more
day before closing the door to SOREHON & SCOTAL.  You have
until Saturday morning to send in your definition.

To refresh your memory: you may choose either one of the two
words to define in the usual way.  The definition you write
should in some way use the other of the two words, but you
need not define the other word.
