Whew, a lot of e-mails since the last time I checked.  Too many people got 
the "neck" part of rinkhals, and some even got "ring," so I think lots of people 
would have picked out the correct definition of "a large venomous spitting 
cobra of southern Africa with one or two white RINGS around its NECK."
