bagasse

Sandy and I are in a Toastmasters club, and another member gave a presentation 
today about processing biomass into fuel and used the word "bagasse" (along 
with some other technical terms such as "stover" which means leftovers of 
corn harvest). I looked at Sandy, but she hasn't been in the game long enough 
to run into the word. So I explained afterward.
