Hey, guys, Piccalilli and Chow Chow  are both in my old Joy Of Cooking. They are both relishes, and I have made them both--long ago.  I believe that chow chow is more cabbage and cuke based  (green), and piccalilli is more tomatoey (red), but I think it varies with the cook and the garden.  Good eating, Linda
