"How about 'wanlace'?", he proposed innocently.  A deft ^X sent the email 
on its way, and he sat back to await their replies.  The desk chair 
creaked beneath him.  He shifted the loco-foco from one corner of his 
mouth to the other and exhaled a long plume of smoke. With this crowd, he 
reflected, you could never be sure that some wiseacre wouldn't write back 
in the next couple of days claiming to know the word and insisting on a 
different one.  But he'd planned for just that contingency.  There were 
more words where 'wanlace' came from -- lots, lots more, each one more 
obscure than the last.  Let 'em try.  Just let 'em.
