Ha Ha.  Um, I'll come up with a word by the end of the week, I promise.

(I knew it wasn't the caber toss--that's an event judged by alignment, not
distance.)
(My mom had one of those glass pot-watcher thingys.  It was horrible.  If
you are in the same room with the pot, don't use it.  If you are far away
elsewhere in the house, then use a pot-watcher thingy.  Except then your
soup will boil over by the time you get back to the kitchen.  Maybe they are
good at a campground, if you have to wander off to, um, use the woods or
something.)
