Folks --

Entries below. Twelve definitions, only one correct.

VOTING RULES: You have FOUR (4) voting points. Distribute them (in
integers) as you will. But the scoring is biased to reward those who
venture their all on a single entry, as follows:

1 vote for the correct entry: gain 1 point
2 votes for the correct entry: gain 3 points
3 votes for the correct entry: gain 5 points
4 votes for the correct entry: gain 8 points

(That is, the number of points you gain for a correct vote is roughly
the number of points you ventured on that entry, raised to the 3/2
power.)

Points gained by others voting for your entry are not multiplied.
Someone gives four points to your def, you get four points.

Votes are due in one week, by close of (EST) business on Tuesday 9
January 2007.

Have fun!
