HI, Haven't read Narnia stories since my kids were young, so I'd better reread them for floral content. I did plant lichnis once, and it was pretty, but it did not make it throught the very cold RI winters of a few years ago (10 to 20 below zero F)  I'd like to find plants resistant to deer as well as rabbbits.  Someone said that deer hate daffodils and dislike yellow flowers in general. linda
