Time for a new protocol?

I've been watching with growing amazement as Fran has suggested word 
after word, none of which I knew, that all had to be disqualified 
because they were familiar to someone.  I'm not sure what to suggest, 
but I think we may need to make some change to our process so 
word-choosers aren't put through this kind of ordeal.  Maybe we have 
so many omnilects on the list that we should switch to only 
disqualifying a word if more than one person knows it, and that 
person is just out for the round?
