Several people were familiar with one of the two definitions of
"huggermugger", being roughly 1) disorder and 2) secrecy. (As well as
one other incorrect guess and a couple of amusing proposed definitions.)
It looks like we have at least 13 people up and running on the new
listserv, as that's how many I got responses from. Most of the usual
suspects are represented, plus a couple of people we haven't heard from
much in a while. Most notably absent were Linda, though she may just
check her email infrequently, and Eric.. Didn't hear from Nick, who
plays about half the time, and nothing from James or Kir, who haven't
piped up in a while. I guess we've lost track of Aussie as well, at
least for now, since her address was on the bounce list from plover.
Anyway, another word. Or two. Here are two related words:
gnammas
tafoni
Send one definition for each, or a definition for one that uses the
other, as you prefer. (Definition pairs will be kept together.) Or
more likely, just tell me that you know one of these words...
