Jean Joseph got something like the shakespeareian definition - Crewel ­ adj.
- made of a thin coloured worsted yarn.  King Lear II.iv.7 Fool to Lear, of
Kent: He wears crewel garters.

So, a new word:

Kicky-wicky

Also Shakespearian; same deadline, same desire for a quotation.
