[Fictionary] dap results

HI, all, good round!  I seem to recall my Dad and my uncles  (who were married to my Mom's sisters) as "dapping" each other all the time--they were good friends but greeted each other with such endearments as "How ya doin', ya bum?"  Linda  PS Of the three, only my Dad liked to fish, and not that often.  I would have enjoyed more fishing.  We didn't dap, but I taught my three boys to catch small fish ( bread bait in a "mummy pot") to catch larger fish  (skipjacks--baby bluefish) to catch blue crabs with a net.  A wonderful summer morning's work.  And then into the cooking pot for supper.  Linda  PS crabbing place now polluted.
