  HI, all, Sorry about your computer problems, Judith--hope you saved necessary stuff, but no one knows yet, I guess.
  About my def, which no one seemed to like...  I have never looked into a shark's mouth, so I know absolutely nothing about their jaws except the teeth come in rows and were a funny image from A High Wind In Jamaica  (the jaw used as a toilet seat on a ship).  My dad had an extensive collection of the teeth which he beachcombed in Fla, many being ancient.  
  As for the bike gears, my son Jon, who was once a national champ in Mt. Bike racing, stores a few of his bikes in our basement for when he visits.  Once he called me on his phone and wanted me to check for the type of pedals (so he knew which bike shoes to bring), which are complicated and which I could not tell apart easily.  The gears are also complicated at the high competition level, so if any one (JJ?) wants to talk bike geek with him, you can try him at Jowens at balancehydrologics dot com, I presume. He would love to expound.  I am only the mom, and no bike geek, nor shark, either.  Linda
