Really, Hallux ("big toe") and Pollex ("thumb") ought to be stars.  Under 
high magnification, Pollex should turn out to be two stars twiddling 
around a common center of gravity.  It would be a good address for the 
editorial offices of the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
