> HI, all, sorry to have been sorta jilted in this round, but I don't have time for being it now, anyway. Are any of you familiar with the opera Die Fledermaus? (a bat as a flying mouse) I've seen it (I own it on videotape) in German with English subtitles, but it is funny even if you turn off the subtitles. Great classical music, characters, familiar theme of men and women running around behind spouses' backs, drunken scenes, interlude of neat performers (the show within the show), etc. If you have an open mind musically, opera is great theater. The first time I heard of it was on a radio program, and the host did
not say it with a German accent. Until I figured out from context what
the title actually was, my brain was registering it as "Deflator Mouse",
who I initially pictured as a diminutive rodent superhero who would go
around puncturing pneumatic villains.
