Fran, sorry to intimidate you, but it was along winter when this game started, and I'd done a lot of reading, so I picked two words from that. Instead of more cantact with the ourside world, I guess I turned off a few people, alas. Linda

Hi Linda and all,
I rarely participate when the assignment is more than one word, or if it
involves some sort of poetry or additional references, or if the voting
system is different.  I certainly see the point of varying the game play, I
just generally don't want to take the time to think about it.  So, chalk it
up to laziness, and I certainly enjoy reading the ballots and guessing in my
own head!
