I forgot that my deadline was last Friday.  So,

WE HAVE ONLY FIVE DEFINITIONS!  Linda, David Randall, Nicolas Ward, 
Ranjit and Pierre.

So get your definitions in by 7 pm on MONDAY, that's Labor Day, tomorrow.

     BETYL
and
     CIERGE.

Don't forget the  modified rules:

   1) You must define both words.

   2) Those definitions will be presented as a package, because:

   3) You must provide a sentence using both words. Preferably a 
sentence that is dependent upon the meanings, not as in "The 
doohickey was on the frammis".
