I was suspicious of the [kr] cluster for the Finnish onomatopeia
definition, too, but I didn't even notice the "problem" with the
cooccurrence of [y] and [o] in the same form.
So that makes me generally curious about the status of vowel harmony (the
tendency of front vowels [y (e?) ö ä], and back vowels [u o a], to cooccur
with others of their group in the native Finnish vocabulary, [i (and e?)]
being "neutral" if I remember correctly). Maybe onomatopeia have looser
requirements than other (non-loan) morphemes in Finnish.

If I remember correctly, anything with a <w> spelling would have to be Sri
Lanka? That's an extremely amusing list, though. It reminds me of this
old list from McSweeney's:
"Figure Skating Term or Phonetic Symbol?"
<http://www.mcsweeneys.net/articles/figure-skating-term-or-phonetic-symbol>
Examples, to give you the flavor:
> 8. Counterclockwise Inside Mohawk
> 14. Closed Reverse Epsilon
> 20. Russian Split
> 21. Dutch Roll
> 22. Polish Hook
