Several people knew hoyden (n. A high-spirited, boisterous, or saucy
girl. / adj. High-spirited; boisterous.), so that's out. I'm glad to
learn there's a positive-connotation word for a protagonisty female,
even if it apparently also gets used to mean 'hussy'. Use it widely,
and emphasize its positive aspects!
Let's try HYETAL. Does anyone already know that one?
(Can you tell which section of the dictionary I was browsing through?)
