[Fictionary] Lirp Ballot

Alright, we have 9 definitions including the real one.

Ballot below (entries standardized for formatting).


Voting system is the normal: Everyone has a 2-point and a 1-point vote.

Tiebreakers will be, in order:

1) Goal differential in the group matches

2) Greatest number of goals scored in the group matches

3) Head-to-head record

4) Head-to-head goal differential (only applicable in case of a 3-way tie)

5) Greatest number of goals scored in head-to-head matches (only applicable
in case of a 3-way tie)

6) Drawing of lots

Actually, it seems that is the tiebreaker system for the World Cup.  We'll
use something else if it comes up in this round.


Deadline for voting will be midnight, July 19.


1) Lirp - v. To fly in an uncontrolled manner, such as a bird would do
after eating overripe berries.

2) Lirp – 1: n. A cheese grater that cuts on both the push and the pull. 2:
n. A nimble opportunist, a Vicar of Bray.

3) Lirp - n. The tip-most ring on a fishing pole through which to thread
the line.

4) Lirp – 1: v. To snap one's fingers. 2: n. The sound produced by snapping
one's fingers.

5) Lirp – v. To surreptitiously affix a label or card, such as a fish
cutout, to someone's back.

6) Lirp - n. An elongated knoll.

7) Lirp - n. The sound made by a tapir.

8) Lirp - v. To issue a challenge to a rival, typically by sound utterance.

9) Lirp - v. To align by eye
