Eric, Clicked on the link and it was quite a tale--did I miss the part about Myrrh? A friend used it to remove warts, but so far I did not have much luck--no doubt an inferior myrrh, As for not voting for your def, I usually vote for the most preposterous defs, and yours may have sounded too real. LINda PS I did not notice a wrong or right on spelling, but was thinking of St. Barbara, the matron saint of a small church in Coventry, England, where friends of ours are/were members. We were lucky enough to visit them and their church about ten years go and loved the hand-worked kneeler covers. Their garden had beautiful roses and the most delicious wild strawberries and there was also a tamed blackbird. The husband has since died of old age, and the wife is in a nursing home if she is still alive. They are/were parents of an English Scout who was in a Boy Scout exchange with our sons many years ago. Son Richard is now a fire chief in Glasgow, Scotland, after tiring of working on oil rigs.

No-one voted for me! Oh, the shame!
It must be because I mis-spelt the name of the saint. It is Saint
Barbaros or Barbarus, generally known as St. Barbaros the
Myrrh-Gusher.
