Today's word (bangkai) was definitely a repeat. It was one of the first
words that showed up when I started playing Lingule, and I remember
because I know that word as part of the name of the corpse flower
(Amorphophallus titanum), which a friend of mine (who passed away last
year) had raised several specimens of. The first time one of his bloomed
(in the UConn greenhouse), they had T-shirts printed up that included
the various names of the plant, one of which is Bunga bangkai. So I knew
who used that word, but I failed to get it the first time around, and I
did get it today, but it took me six guesses, bouncing around the region
until I hit the right language.
