<html>Pierre, Oddly enough, I made some chicken soup tonight and added dulse to it. I have found that adding edible and very clean seaweeds to some foods gives them more body, plus adds a hammy taste to bland vegetarian fare, if wanted. Coincidently, I have a low-T3 problem (low thryoid hormone #3, the iodo--something)(despite a fondness for fish) that is needed to process iodine. Without it, I felt lethargic. While waiting 4 months for an appt with my endocrinologist, I went to a health food store where the clerk recommended kelp and a thyroid support capsule--has various minerals and probably mad cow thyroid hormones. But I have a lot more energy and feel relatively great for a grandma stuck indoors so much this winter (too much ice). And my doctor says to keep it up, as it seems to be working, testwise.
