<html>Pierre, Is it possible that gadana is related to katana, another Japanese tool?&nbsp; My three sons used to make them in their teens&nbsp; (but never took them out of the house for fear of being accused of mayhem). Can't recall if a katana cut anything.&nbsp; The boys also had extensive knife and sword collections but again, never let anyone outside the house know about them.&nbsp; They were very much into SCA and the Middle&nbsp;Ages, a world of imagination, I guess.&nbsp; They have grown up to be very accomplished gentlemen, with interesting careers.&nbsp; Linda</html>
