My definition (mouse factory leftovers) was inspired by Jim Mosowitz's
wonderful *afflatus*, which I still think about all the time nearly 20
years later:
afflatus - (n) loose change, pens, toupees, and other small items found
beneath the loop-the-loop on a roller coaster.
(Feb. 1998)
Since it was a semiripoff, I'll defer to Hutch and Jean-Joseph for the next
round, unless neither of you wants it.
