Elliott,
I just read an article claiming that one Edward Vajda has presented
convincing proof that the NaDene languages are related to Ket, a language
spoken in four villages along the Yenesei River--relating words for canoe,
prow, etc., as well as finding structural similarities. I gather this idea
has been floating around for a while; the claim is that this is a more
convincing tie. Do you have informed comment?
David
