[Fictionary] thanks, and proposed new word

I believe that the spice trade was helped by the inferiority of unrefrigerated meat.  I like my steak unadorned, if it's tasty, maybe a little salt, and I find meat roasted over a fire especially yummy, alhtough I am not averse to spices; however, my husband is addicted to A-1 steak sauce on hamburgers, for some reason--perhaps it contains an ingredient his body "needs?"
