HI, again, I just have to tell it: when David and I went to Frankfurt, Germany 42 years ago (he was with the US Army) we expected the neighborhood kids (we lived in a German neighborhood) to wear Lederhosen. They turned out to be more likely to wear jeans, as did some dads. All the kids were dressed up as Cowboys and Indians, and ran around playing the game, thanks to Bonanza reruns on TV. Linda PS You could tell the German men from the Americans by their shaggy hairlines and odd sandals with socks. American soldiers were asked not to wear Army uniforms while off duty to tone down the military presence.
