I decided to say that I made up my entire poem in a few minutes, as I love to find silly ways to find rhymes for silver and oranges for some reason. Linda

News to me!  It was pretty clever, and the original author was executed

What's the matter with the scansion?  There's a grace note at the start of 
Line 2 that isn't there in Line 4, but that's the only difference:

2:  (should) he  re SOLVE u  pon a  MI nis try ca  REER
4:           his um BRE   la his ma LA ca  or  his FLEER
