HI, all, several of you knew fustian or chalumeau, or at least came close to it. So, I will go with CLEM. It is from an old novel, so please give as references in your def, the name of an old novel, real or imagined, its author, and a short synopsis of 25 words or less. Bonus points if you include, at the end, a more specific definition that shows why someone is a coof, or idiot. Include references to a true story, please. Thanks, Linda. PS Defs due sometime next week, before Easter, as I will be busy with family then. I may extend it till after Easter, which seems a long way away, but, hey, it's spring at last!
