HI, All Y'All, 
Checked out the Eeephing of Jimmy Riddle and was amazed to find it sounded like the stray guinea hen that has been frequenting the leftovers under my bird feeder.  I used to watch Hee Haw, but never heard eephing, or Jimmy Riddle, or realized there was a Southern version of yodeling.  So nice of you to pass this on!  BTW, I still often wear a price tag on my summer straw hats, like MInnie Pearl.  Gratefully, Linda

Ranjit recognized "replevin" as a legal term, and "detinue" is as well.  They both mean "an action to recover possession or the value of property wrongfully detained".

Next possibility : eeephing
